The Central American country of Colombia is one of the top coffee producing countries and most well-known. High altitude and rich soil help to produce coffee that is rich in flavor and heavy bodied with bright acidity.

This East African nation is well known for producing top-notch coffees. Kenyan coffees are known for bright acidity, sweetness and may exhibit winey flavors. Interesting fruit flavors and aroma may be present like berries, citrus or black-currant.

Sumatra has a rich coffee history with production dating back to the 18th century. Coffees from this Indonesian region are often characterized as heavy, smooth and complex. The most sought after Sumatran coffees have earth and spice notes.

Coffees grown in the African nation of Tanzania are known for consistency and quality. Tanzanian Coffees often exhibit bright acidity and strong flavor. Most Arabica coffee from this region is grown on Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru.
