Roasts

Light roasting is used for some coffees to allow their unique characteristics to shine through. Coffee will be lighter in body and higher in acidity.

A little extra roasting time allows sugars to develop and the coffee may have caramel notes. Acidity, aroma and complexity may be more balanced.

Dark roasting creates a heavier body/ mouth-feel and you may notice sweet, smoky or spicy flavors.
